Makes 2 8-oz jars
Ingredients
Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats
½ cup old-fashioned rolled oats
¾ tsp ground cinnamon
⅛ tsp ground ginger
½ cup chopped apple (about ½ large apple)
½ cup milk of your choosing (I used unsweetened almond milk)
4 tsp honey
½ tsp pure vanilla extract
½ cup plain Greek yogurt
2 tsp chia seeds
Optional toppings: Almonds or walnuts, dried fruit, additional honey
Directions
Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats
Add the oats, cinnamon, ginger, apple, milk, honey, vanilla, yogurt, and chia seeds to a bowl and stir together until well combined.
Divide the oatmeal between two 8-ounce mason jars or other individual storage containers. Seal the jars and refrigerate overnight (or up to 4 days).
When ready to eat, shake the jar to combine the ingredients or empty the contents of the jar into a serving bowl and stir to combine. Add a little more Greek yogurt or almond milk if a thicker or thinner consistency is desired. Add any desired toppings and enjoy!
